A visit to New Poona Cold Drink House in Pune’s Camp area feels like stepping into a time capsule. With its old-world charm and ever-present crowd, the place continues to be a favourite for generations—and it’s easy to see why. We kept it classic and ordered two of their most-loved offerings: the Faluda Ice Cream (Regular) and the Mango Mastani. The Faluda Ice Cream was comforting and indulgent in the best way. Layers of silky faluda sev, basil seeds, rose syrup, and milk came together beautifully, topped with a generous scoop of ice cream. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the textures played well together—cool, creamy, and refreshing, especially on a warm Pune evening. The Mango Mastani was equally satisfying. Thick, rich, and generously portioned, it tasted like ripe mangoes blended into creamy goodness, finished with chopped nuts and a scoop of ice cream on top. It felt indulgent without being cloying, and every spoonful was pure nostalgia. There’s nothing fancy or experimental here—and that’s exactly the point. New Poona Cold Drink House does what it’s always done: serve dependable, comforting desserts that people keep coming back for.

Visit to this place always encouraging, their Kulfi Faluda as always awesome, I have been visiting here from many years, Taste has never change. 1 Faluda for 1 person is bit more but you share as well. Their milk shake is also very nice.
